Now know as Open Text Web Solutions Management Server and Open Text Web Solutions Delivery Server, Red Dot Content Management Server which offers CMS services and and Red Dot Live Server which offered persionalisation and customisation services has gone through some difficult times.
During the time that I have worked with RedDot it has been owned by Hummingbird who were then themselves bought by Open Text. Following what I would have a called a disappointing upgrade to RedDot Opentext then bought Vignette.
RedDot predated personalised dynamic website content management systems that were designed from the ground up to deliver portal experiences for public and intra/extranet sites.
